We're still in the season here...No snow yet, but it's right around the corner.
Thanks for replying back and enjoy your day!

Thanks for that - a fine autumn picture. I remember autumn, we had one quite recently...

A few years back I lived in a small town that had no law and people really did carry guns sometimes shooting one another to settle a dispute.

Well, I think generally Americans do tend to be politer than most nations - it could be a hold-over from when a lot of people carried guns, so being polite to people was a good way not to get shot...

Did he ever call her mam? I was raised using mam and sir when replying to a question from an elder. Good manners you know, lol!

I don't remember that happening, but it would indeed be polite. Nowadays people who say "Sir" or "Ma'am" are either trying to sell you something, or trying to arrest you...

My Bio

I'm still trying to come to terms with arriving here to find five "friends" pre-loaded - who is this "Brad Pitt" person, anyway...? Photo galleries disappear, posts elsewhere I make don't stick, there seems no word about the actual migration of ezboards (retaining their current posts) to Yukkie - they need to do a lot of work still, don't they?
